Erie County District Attorney John Flynn along with many students and staff at UB, feel that former UB Vice President Dennis Black deserved some amount of jail time and received a lighter punishment than he deserved.

Dennis Black, former UB vice president was sentenced to five years probation, 2500 hours of community service and a $5000 fine.

UB libraries will waive late fees for overdue books through Dec. 18. The fee waiver is part of The Amnesty Campaign, an effort to transfer more than 4.2 million printed materials to a new database.

Apple’s new iPhone X comes with a beautiful design and operating system, but a hefty price tag. After a week of use, my initial thoughts on the device are mostly positive, but Apple still hasn’t perfected what they’re calling “the future.”

Professor Kushal K. Bhardwaj’s army of loyal students is standing by his side in the midst of his abrupt removal last month. Students are unhappy with the compensation they received and are unhappy that they are not able to drop the class without being penalized.
