Sophomore Hitter Shines for Bulls

Tall, positive and a natural leader, Nikki Morzenti has all the right components to be a great volleyball player.Though Morzenti is only a sophomore, she has already been thrust into a leadership role on the court for the UB Bulls.Lately, Morzenti has averaged around 11 kills and seven digs per game.

Jenny Dannecker's scoring rampage over the past two weeks has helped the Bulls hold tightly to the MAC's eighth and final playoff spot.Dannecker has been virtually unstoppable in the past five games.

Embattled Soccer Team Shuts Out Bowling Green

It took just under two minutes of overtime play for Mirnes Biscevic to score the game-winning goal over Bowling Green University on Sunday afternoon.The goal was scored on a magnificently placed cross by Jeff Martinko, with Biscevic finding the back of the net just 1:41 into overtime play.After a great start to the season, the Bulls (7-4-1 overall, 1-2 Mid-American Conference) needed a solid showing.Buffalo had dropped their last four in a row, while being shut out in the last three contests.

Ups and Downs For Tennis At Dartmouth

The Bulls looked to continue their climb towards the top of the tennis mountain at the Dartmouth Invitational, but in order to do that they needed a strong showing from the whole team.Nick Ziezula, Mark Kennedy and Randy Rocchio won their early matches, but Mike Rockman's undefeated record was ruined with a loss.
