The Student Association hosted UB’s first Fall Food Festival, featuring food from vendors across Buffalo on Friday.
UB Sustainability organized a clean-up of Bizer Creek on Thursday, where volunteers cleaned roughly 500 pounds of garbage from the creek.
Graduate students and faculty members protesting on the fifth floor of Capen Hall during Monday’s UB Council meeting. By not moving to a larger room to accommodate members of the public who wanted to attend the meeting, the council violated New York State Open Meetings Law, according to New York State’s top open-government official.
The Bunsis Report showed as enrollment increased UB hired less tenure track faculty and more non-tenure track faculty. The report also showed that the number of assistant professors declined from 317 in 2009 to 248 in 2020.
