Movie review: “Wicked: (Part One)” defies expectations as a 160-minute musical epic

On top of working a part-time job on campus and taking five courses, I spent months applying and planning for an exchange semester at Cardiff University in the capital of Wales. This time, the payoff was well worth the labor.

It should therefore come as a surprise to learn that because of Buffalo's rich and diverse history, there is a considerable number of films, songs, and other forms of entertainment that have paid reverence to this storied city.
