Why you shouldn't be laughing at your friends mourning the loss of Liam Payne

By now, we have all heard the news of Liam Payne's passing, and if you haven't, well, now you have. Payne, 31, tragically passed away in Buenos Aires, Argentina on Wednesday, Oct. 16. As a former hardcore Directioner in my preteen and early teenage years, I want to speak for everyone around you who may feel very deeply about the situation. And for those of you upset and being 'dramatic' about it, I want to validate your feelings because they are just that valid.

Women’s volleyball fails to secure win in Ohio doubleheader

Coming off a two-game sweep at home against Northern Illinois (2-24, 1-15 MAC) last weekend, the UB women’s volleyball team (14-15, 10-6 MAC) traveled to Athens this past Friday for their last on-the-road Mid-American Conference (MAC) games to face the Ohio Bobcats (14-13, 10-6 MAC) in a doubleheader. The Bulls were unable to come out with a win, losing both games by scores of  3-1 and 3-0.

Women’s volleyball goes 1-1 against defending MAC champions

To kick off Mid-American Conference (MAC) play, women's volleyball (4-9, 1-1 MAC) traveled to Kalamazoo to face the reigning MAC champions, the Western Michigan Broncos (4-7, 1-1 MAC), in a doubleheader this past weekend. The Bulls were able to secure their first win on the road this season in the second match.


The UB women's volleyball struggled to find a win over the weekend at the Sunshine Tournament.

Women’s volleyball wraps up non-conference play in Florida

Following their victory over Niagara Purple Eagles Wednesday night the UB women’s volleyball team (4-9, 0-0 MAC) traveled to Gainesville, Florida to attend the Sunshine Invitation hosted by Florida. Buffalo were unable to come away with a single win, losing both of their matches 3-0. The Bulls have struggled in tournaments, having not won one since hosting the Buffalo Invitational.
