Crew makes unexpectedly poor showing

A week after shining at the Harvey Cup against Eastern Michigan, women's crew could not manage the same luster against Ivy League opponents Bucknell and Colgate Saturday.Of the five races, the Bulls mustered a second-place finish over Bucknell in the Varsity Eight race, but Bucknell powered through the day, winning four of the five events.

"Injury-free, softball ready to rumble"

In the game of softball, winning is 90 percent mental. For the Buffalo, that mindset is going to be needed if the team is going to climb back from the bottom of the Mid-American Conference standings.The Bulls will host squads from both Central Michigan and Eastern Michigan this weekend, playing four games total.

Lynch claims title at ECAC Championships

For the ninth time in 10 years, Buffalo men's swimming and diving finished in the top 10 at the Eastern College Athletics Conference championships, but the real highlight last weekend was freshman diver Cassidy Lynch, who earned the Diver of the Year title at the University of Pittsburgh meet.The Westminster, Colo., native came away with both the one-meter and three-meter individual diving titles, breaking the school record in the latter event by nearly six points.
