Over the weekend, Bulls swimming and diving (3-1, 0-0 MAC) competed in a two-day unscored meet against Canisius University (0-6, 0-2 MAAC) and Niagara University (2-2, 0-0 MAAC) that showed promising performances as they prepare for their mid-season meet on Dec. 4.
On Wednesday night, Bulls football (5-5, 4-2 MAC) fell to in-conference opponent Central Michigan University (6-4, 4-2 MAC).

Over the weekend, the Bulls women’s basketball team opened their season at home with a 69-63 win over Canisius in an exhibition game. This first game of the season was the UB debut for head coach Kristen Sharkey as well as the majority of the Bulls’ roster.
The Bulls swim and dive team had their first meet of the season this past weekend at home, competing with Niagara University and Cornell University.

The University at Buffalo’s equestrian team may not be as well known as the school’s football or basketball programs, but the riders are making their mark in competition.
Wednesday night the UB Women's Soccer (3-1-1, 0-0-0 MAC) team defeated The Niagara University Purple Eagles (3-2-0, 0-1-0 MAAC) 2-0 in a thrilling match under the lights. A win over a Big 4 rival is a promising sign as the Bulls head into the bulk of their season and begin to face in-conference opponents.
