Since his debut mixtape in 2011, Abel Tesfaye has created a place for himself among pop music’s most popular stars. The Weeknd has invariably watered down his unique style and replaced it with one more tailored for the radio along his journey to stardom. But that doesn’t mean this album isn’t unique.

UB says diversity is the real winner at the Emmys

Christian Pierce, a senior economics and political science double major, said that it’s about time that a big awards show celebrates real diversity. Compared to other shows throughout history like the Grammys, the Emmys seem to have stepped it up in having a more diverse list of nominees.


Three of the most anticipated albums of the year were released on the exclusive streaming sites Tidal and Apple Music.
