Women’s soccer clinches MAC tournament spot following win and draw

In what was their final home game of the regular season, the UB women’s soccer team (10-1-6, 5-1-4 MAC) defeated the reigning Mid-American Conference (MAC) champions Ohio (10-3-4, 5-2-3 MAC) by a score of 2-0 at UB stadium on Thursday night. They followed this performance up with a 1-1 draw against the Miami RedHawks (7-4-6, 3-3-4 MAC) on Sunday afternoon, securing a spot in the MAC tournament.


Following last week’s win, the UB Bulls tied with the Ball State Cardinals at Briner Sports Field in Muncie, Indiana, with a final score of 0-0.

Following last week’s win against Northern Illinois (6-4-3, 0-3-2 MAC), the UB Bulls (8-1-3, 3-1-1 MAC) tied with the Ball State Cardinals (6-3-2, 1-1-2 MAC) in Sunday afternoon’s game at Briner Sports Field in Muncie, Indiana, with a final score of 0-0.


Football was beaten by the UConn Huskies by a score of 47-3 on Saturday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium.

Bulls outclassed in 47-3 defeat to UConn

UB football (3-2, 1-0 MAC) were beaten decisively by the UConn Huskies (3-2, 0-0 FBS I) by a one-sided score of 47-3 this Saturday at Pratt & Whitney Stadium. In what was their first match on a natural grass field since 2019, the Bulls were unable to reach the endzone, and their defense succumbed to the Huskies’ relentless offensive pressure.


The UB women's volleyball struggled to find a win over the weekend at the Sunshine Tournament.

Women’s volleyball wraps up non-conference play in Florida

Following their victory over Niagara Purple Eagles Wednesday night the UB women’s volleyball team (4-9, 0-0 MAC) traveled to Gainesville, Florida to attend the Sunshine Invitation hosted by Florida. Buffalo were unable to come away with a single win, losing both of their matches 3-0. The Bulls have struggled in tournaments, having not won one since hosting the Buffalo Invitational.


UB Football beat UMass by a margin of 34-3 on Saturday.

UB football wins 34-3 at home against UMass

UB’s football team (2-1, 0-0 MAC) beat the University at Massachusetts Minutemen (1-2, 0-0 A10) at UB Stadium on Saturday afternoon with a score of 34-3. This was UMass’s first appearance at UB Stadium since 2015 and marks their last meeting as a non-conference opponent, as the Minutemen are slated to become members of the MAC in 2025.
