Softball struggles against Central Michigan in weekend series

Softball (5-22, 2-6 MAC) hosted the Central Michigan Chippewas (13-15, 5-2 MAC) in what was supposed to be a three game weekend, starting with a matchup on Friday at 3 p.m. followed by a doubleheader on Saturday. The second game on Saturday afternoon was cancelled due to weather. Of the two games that were played, the Bulls were unable to secure a win, losing 2-8 and 0-9 (five innings), respectively.


The Bulls fell to Toledo two other times this season, including in Alumni Arena.

Women’s basketball suffers semifinal loss against Toledo

Following their win against the Bowling Green Falcons (18-13, 11-7 MAC) on Wednesday, the Bulls (25-7, 13-5 MAC) faced the Toledo Rockets (24-7, 13-5 MAC) in the Mid-American Conference (MAC) Tournament semifinals on Friday afternoon. While the Bulls held Toledo to a low-scoring game of 56-48, they were unable to take home the win.


As the Bulls prepare for the MAC tournament, they secured a victory over the Eastern Michigan Eagles this past Wednesday.

Softball goes one and four in Wofford Invitational

This past weekend, softball (2-12, 0-0 MAC) took home just one win at the Wofford Invitational in Spartansburg, South Carolina. The invite took off on Friday morning against the North Dakota Fighting Hawks (8-10, 0-0 Summit) with a quick win of 12-2 in just 5 innings. 


UB men’s basketball have shown improvement since their historically poor 2023-2024 campaign, but they have struggled to find consistency.

UB basketball season report: How are the Bulls doing?

As regular season play begins to wind down, the men’s and women’s basketball teams find themselves on contrasting paths. While both squads entered the year with hopes of improvement, the women’s side has had one of their most impressive regular season performances, whereas the men’s squad appear to still be reeling from last year’s problems.


The UB AAU hockey team faced off against Binghamton and St. Bonaventure this past weekend.

UB hockey celebrates Valentine’s Day weekend going 2-0

The UB Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) hockey team (5-2-1) went 2-0 over this past weekend, starting with a hard fought shootout win over the Binghamton Bearcats AAU - D1 (12-5-2) on Valentine’s day. Buffalo then followed up with a 6-3 win over St. Bonaventure (11-6-1) on Saturday to cap off the weekend.
