Every St. Patrick’s Day, celebrants deck their bodies out in green, throw on excessive plastic jewelry and enjoy a night on the town that doesn’t end until the next morning. Contrary to what many believe, a wild night of bar-hopping is not how the Irish intended for their holiday to be celebrated.
Most of us will hopefully be out on St. Patrick’s Day, enjoying the sun and warm weather after months of snow and dreariness. We all know how the weather in Buffalo can be, but having a movie to cozy up with can be a good substitute in the unfortunate case the weather doesn't hold. Over the past football season, Akasya has created one-of-a-kind graphic design pieces featuring the beloved Buffalo Bills. These graphics range from Josh Allen wearing 2000s low-rise Juicy sweats to Sabrina Carpenter offering football plays. Needless to say, there is something for everyone. This year, she has been participating in the Hunt Residency program, a program that provides emerging artists with the opportunity to collaborate and exhibit work through Hunt Gallery platforms.
