Here are some Buffalo and UB-inspired Halloween costumes to guide you through this spooky season.
1. Zombie Stefon Diggs as a Bills Player
Diggs broke up the greatest Bromance of all time when he left the Bills earlier this year.
You will need: Zombie makeup, outdated Stefon Diggs jersey (probably on sale)
2. Angel Flats and Devil Drums
Because we all know there’s a right choice.
You will need: flats only shirt, halo, angel wings, drumstick t-shirt, devil horns
3. Ghost of the Men’s Hockey Team
The Men’s Hockey Team made headlines this year, but unfortunately the team did not survive this season. Legend says you can sometimes still see their ghosts lurking outside Alumni Arena. Keep them in your hearts and in your costumes.
You will need: hockey uniform, white sheet, sharpie, scissors
4. Sexy Victor E. Bull
Recognizable, very serious and not at all disrespectful, this costume has all the components to winning every costume contest. If you go to a football game wearing this costume they will give you free Little Blue. (Joking, please don’t sue the Spectrum).
You will need: Buffalo jersey, short white shorts, knee-high white boots, bull ears
5. ‘Fake Spring’ and ‘Second Winter’
Just in case one duo costume wasn’t good enough, here comes “Fake Spring” and “Second Winter.” The scariest part of living in Buffalo is waking up at the end of March to a snow storm.
You will need: Flower crown, green dress, Elsa Costume, Scary mask
6. UBLinked Event Pass
Going to an event on UB’s campus means searching through UBLinked for that pesky event pass. So why not wear it on your shirt?
You will need: White t-shirt, Tape, Printed QR Code of your event pass
7. Goose
Blend in with your surroundings this Halloween by being one of the million geese on UB’s campus. Maybe you can camouflage and see what your friends say about you in the Student Union.
You will need: Inflatable Goose costume from Amazon $360
