Most Royal: Hannah
Hannah Rashad, assistant news editor, adorned a crown from age four. This category was based on sparkles and crowns. Clearly, the only answer here was her Royal Highness, Queen Rashad.
Most likely for another parent to say “Aw”: Hannah
Rashad doesn't only hold the crown for her royalty status. Though she doesn't live up to the height of a giraffe, she does live up to their adorable nature.
Most Original: Sabrina
Social media manager Sabrina Wroblewski has had a knack for design since childhood. Wroblewski is dressed as a bag of popcorn, no other child has dared to recreate this iconic piece since.
Most Creative: Sophia
One might be questioning what Sophia Stines’ costume is. Young Stines could solve any multiplication problem dressed as the Riddler. Now, she can solve any LSAT exam problem as she studies for law school.
Most eccentric: Lily
Lily Ensminger showed all her colors for this Halloween. No one is as colorful as
Ensminger with her peacock tutu.
Most heroic: Ricardo
Ricardo Castillo is the Editor-in-Chief of The Spectrum, some would even say the hero of the paper. Castillo could even save the day as Batman in this childhood costume.
Most likely to scare their neighbors: Ricardo
Though Castillo may be seen to many, now, as the friendly neighborhood Spiderman, back in the day he was frightening many neighbors with his Freddy Krueger costume. No surprise if a neighborhood Karen stopped to talk to Castillo’s parents about this costume choice.
Most villainous: Mylien
Mylien Lai investigates stories around campus, some may say she's doing the good that needs to be done. But, as a child, Lai was quite the opposite, portrayed in this photo as the Evil Queen from Enchanted.
Oddest costume decision: Sarah
Not commonly seen, for obvious reasons, this broken doll costume is reminiscent of every time this child was called “unique.”
