It has been 80 issues since we printed our first paper of the 2004-05 school year. Countless hours of hard work and 800,000 individual copies of The Spectrum later, we are proud to have served this university with our thrice-weekly coverage and commentary.
If you are an undergraduate, you pay one dollar per semester to help fund our paper. We have done our best to give you something in return - whether it is letting you know what's going on with your student government, how the basketball team played last night, or what band came to the area over the weekend.
Together, we saw the investiture of a new UB president and the re-election of an American president. From a heartbreaking but unprecedented run by the men's basketball team to in-depth coverage of your student government and administration, we strived to keep you in touch with the world around you.
