With greater distribution, the porn industry has undergone a revolution releasing films of all sorts. Just recently there has been "Tea Bagger Vance," "Moulin Splooge," and "Bareback Mountin'."

The latest skin flick is "Sexy Nurses 2," a sequel that explores different modes of health care.

Adult films frequently pull stock characters such as the naughty secretary, the pizza delivery boy and the confused burglar. The hot nurse is another reoccurring character but actress Celeste pulls it off with professionalism and poise. Celeste works in the standard nurse attire: a short revealing blouse and red fishnet stockings.

The plot begins to unfold when her boyfriend Woody Long comes to see her at work and surprises her with one of those "guess who" sneak-ups. He then suggests they go somewhere to be alone. Celeste, attempting to balance her work and love life, suggests that they be intimate in the hospital room. Woody is reluctant, however, because of a nearby coma patient.

"He's in a coma, he's not going to know," Celeste prods. "C'mon, do you want me or not."

In a hilarious turn of events the ostensibly comatose old man wakes up and cracks a creepy smile. He begins caressing Celeste during the act of coitus yet she fails to notice the third hand.

Once Woody accelerates his thrusting motions, the patient begins feeling her chest, and then quickly pulls his hand away when Celeste looks.

With most pornos, the acting is below the standards of a normal movie. "Sexy Nurses 2" is no exception. However, the minimal dialogue glosses over the poor writing and acting. Celeste and Woody have good chemistry and play off each other well with their interlocking parts. Celeste's toe-curling climax is convincing, as are her bewailing moans and perfectly timed roll of the eyes. Also worthy of acclaim is Woody's million dollar money-shot that is a satisfying end to the narrative.

Director Fed J. Lincoln is not new to the pornography ring. He has over 280 pornographic films to his credit, and has acted written and produced a number of works in the industry. In the tradition of Hitchcock, his diverse talents even include a small part in "Misty Beethoven: The Musical!"

The camera work is standard, keeping the frame still in the fashion of Gus Van Sant, and utilizes the slow Kubrick-esque zoom-in. Lincoln is good about keeping the frame tight, but avoids getting grossly close. It seems like some directors use endoscopic medical devices to give an uncomfortably close shot, but Lincoln follows the rule: less is more.

The soundtrack is a smooth jazzy jam, reminiscent of "Debbie Does Dallas." It's a bit different than the usual wah-heavy, low-key funk featured in more generic porno.

Now that pornography is becoming so widely accepted, we may see more mainstream directors turning out their own adult works. For instance, Roman Polanski intends to direct and star in "Oops! She was 13?"

Many watchers will diagnose "Sexy Nurses 2" as an arousing look into the naughty corners of the medical profession. Its provocative scenes hit you like a cold stethoscope against your chest and titillates like a 3-inch thick rectal thermometer.
