Ball State defeated the women's basketball team 59-57 at Alumni Arena Saturday afternoon. The Bulls fall to 11-10 and 3-7 in the Mid-American Conference.

The men's basketball team defeated Ball State 76-64 at Alumni Arena Tuesday night. The Bulls move to 4-3 in Mid-American Conference play.

Allen Greene named athletic director

Allen Greene was named UB's athletic director in the UB Stadium team meeting room Tuesday morning. Greene previously served as UB's deputy director of athletics under Danny White, who accepted the AD job at the Univeristy of Central Florida last week.

UB men's basketball gets 87-68 exhibition win

The men's basketball team got an 87-68 exhibition win over Daemen at Alumni Arena Friday night. New players like CJ Massinburg, Willie Conner and Nick Perkins accounted for 55 of the team’s 87 points.

UB Bulls defeat Ohio 41-17

The football team (3-4, 1-2 Mid-American Conference) defeated Ohio (5-3, 2-2 MAC) 41-17 and captured their first conference win of the Leipold era at UB Stadium Saturday. 

UB Bulls Madness 2015

The men and women's basketball programs held their annual Bulls Madness pep rally in Alumni Arena Friday night. The night including player and coach introductions and slam-dunk and three-point contests. 

Students pie professors

Students threw pies at their professors in the Student Union lobby on Thursday for the first-ever Pie a Professor event. The event is organized by UB’s Residence Hall Association (RHA) in an effort to raise money for the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. RHA raised more than $600 and 160 students participated.

UB BSU protests President Tripathi's address

Members of the Black Student Union held a peaceful protest during President Satish Tripathi's annual State of the University Address in response to the controversial race art project and the university's response. Students stood and raised white posters in the air that read “We Want Answers” and left early to stand in the Slee Hall lobby and protest as people grabbed refreshments.

UB Bulls lose 28-22 to Bowling Green

The football team (2-3, 0-1 Mid-American Conference) lost 28-22 to Bowling Green (3-2, 1-0 MAC) Saturday at UB Stadium in what was Buffalo's homecoming game. 

UB Black Student Union holds annual Sickle Cell Auction

Black Student Union (BSU) held its annual Sickle Cell Auction on Sunday in the Student Union Theater. Every year, BSU holds the auction to not only raise awareness for sickle cell anemia, but to also raise as much money as it can for the cause. Altogether, BSU raised $1,242.48 in donations, slightly less than last year’s total of more than $1,400. All proceeds went to Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo.

Nevada defeats UB Bulls 24-21

The football team (2-2) lost 24-21 to Nevada (2-2) at UB Stadium on Saturday. It was Buffalo's final game before Mid-American Conference play begins. 

SA and BSU hold open forum

The Student Association and Black Student Union held a special forum Wednesday night to discuss the recent controversial art project and ways the UB community can move forward.
