If Halloween crept up on you faster than you can say “Boo,” and you don’t have a costume planned for your night of fun this Thursday (or whichever day you decide to celebrate this spooky holiday), The Spectrum staff has got you covered. Scroll through our suggestions for some very last-minute costumes that will still have you looking scary good this Halloween!

Mike & Sully

Don’t have a costume picked out for you and your best friend yet? Grab a green T-shirt and its blue counterpart and draw the famous eye of Mike Wizowski and purple spots of his best furry friend Sully. If you want to be a little extra, grab your dad’s construction hat (any yellow hat will do) for the Mike of your duo.

A Cat

A cat might be the most basic costume, but it's easy to make cute. Cats come in all colors so take a spin on this. Grab some lasagna and be Garfield, or grab a white outfit, pink bow and be Marie from The Aristocrats.

Nickelback

If you’re like me (or Jim Halpert from “The Office”) and haven't had Halloween spirit since your childhood, go with a punny costume. In this instance, just wear a white t-shirt and tape a bunch of nickels to your back while wearing a dirty blonde wig and fake goatee for the Chad Kroeger look. It might not be super elaborate but hey, at least you get to dress up as what is essentially a personified dad-joke. (Disclaimer: I stole this idea from a Ryan Higa video).

Kim Possible (or Ron)

If you suck at making creative decisions, just go with a quick Kim Possible costume. All you need are green cargo pants, a black turtleneck, black combat boots and a brown belt. If not her then go as Ron, the cheesy sidekick, and just switch green cargos to gray. These are all basic clothing accessories that you’ll have a 90% chance of finding in your closet. It’s cute and simple and I’ve been rocking it for the last three years so I can ensure that it’ll work in your favor.

Football Player

If you can't think of anything to be, this is a great option that is super easy. Put on your favorite team’s jersey, any pair of pants and some lines under your eyes and you're all set. There's no need to stress out about hair and makeup and you get to represent your favorite team. It's probably going to be cold so you could also pair the outfit with a beanie as well!

Mia Wallace from Pulp Fiction

An iconic look that also happens to be very easy to pull off. All you need is black pants, a white button down shirt, loafers, red lipstick, and a black wig if you want to go all out!

Subway Surfers

Hey guys, it’s me again…I have another costume to rock Halloween this year with no time (or money). This look can serve for a single, duo or even group costume this Halloween. For the iconic Jake and Tricky, grab some white shirts, red hats, a jean jacket and you’re set! Combine with a skateboard and some spray paint for extra pizzazz. For a group costume, you could have one friend reuse their old cop costume and have another be a cute dog to chase the perpetrators.
