UB will begin the 2023 season on the road against another Big Ten opponent, Wisconsin, on Sept. 2.

The UB football team announced its future non-conference opponents, including Army, University at Albany and, most notably, a trip to Beaver Stadium in 2026 against Penn State University.

Meeting for the fifth time in program history, the Penn State Nittany Lions have won three of their last four meetings. The Bulls’ lone win came in 1900, 10-0.

UB beat the University of Minnesota in 2017 but has otherwise lost five of the six games its played against Big Ten Conference opponents since 2015.

On Sept. 3, 2026, the Bulls will host Albany in a battle of the SUNYs, facing each other for the first time since a 22-16 loss in 2016.

The Bulls will travel to West Point on Sept. 12, 2026 for the first game of a home-and-home, with the Black Knights coming to Buffalo in 2027. Army has won four of the last six meetings with UB.

UB will begin the 2023 season on the road against another Big Ten opponent, Wisconsin, on Sept. 2.
