Fivio Foreign and Yung Gravy will headline this year’s Fall Fest, the Student Association announced on social media Saturday.
A third artist will be announced next week, Tendaji Ya’Ukuu, SA’s Director of Communications, said.
This year’s Fall Fest will be the first since 2019 and take place on Saturday, Sept. 24. A location has yet to be announced.
Fall Fest was not held from 2020-22 due to COVID-19-related safety concerns.
Fivio Foreign’s music career first took off in 2019 with his hit song “Big Drip.” The 32-year-old Brooklyn rapper currently has over 10 million monthly listeners on Spotify and is known for contributing to the rise of New York’s Drill scene. His most popular songs include “City of Gods” featuring Kanye West and Alicia Keys, “What’s My Name” featuring Chloe and Queen Naija and his feature on rapper Lil Tjay’s “Headshot.”
Yung Gravy currently has over 14 million monthly listeners on Spotify. The 6-foot-7 Minnesota-raised rapper rose to fame with his 2016 hit song “Mr. Clean.” His most popular songs currently include “Betty (Get Money),” “oops!” and “Welcome to Chilis.”
The SA selected the artists they did with the help of a survey sent out to students over the summer, according to Ya’Ukuu.
