UB hopes to play a full 12-game schedule in 2021, after COVID shortened its 2020 slate.

On Tuesday, the Mid-American Conference announced UB football’s in-conference opponents for the 2021 season, completing their 12-game slate.

Buffalo will face Akron, Kent State, Miami (OH) and Ball State on the road while taking on Western Michigan, Ohio, Northern Illinois and Bowling Green at UB Stadium. Dates and times for these games will be announced in the near future.

As for their four non-conference games, the Bulls will take on Wagner on Sept. 4 and the defending Sun Belt Conference Champion Coastal Carolina on Sep. 18 at UB Stadium. UB will then travel to Nebraska to face the Huskers on Sept. 11 and Old Dominion on Sept. 25.

It will be the Bulls’ first meeting with each of its three non-conference FBS opponents.

The Bulls are coming off a 6-1 season, winning the MAC East division and the 2020 Camellia Bowl, their second straight bowl victory.

UB finished the 2020 season ranked 25th in the Associated Press Poll, the first such ranking in program history.
