R&B singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar will open the Student Association’s Spring Fest on May 5, according to SA’s announcement Wednesday night.
Caesar released his debut independent album “Freudian” in 2017. The record picked up two nominations at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, was nominated for Best R&B Album, and lead single “Get You” got a nod for Best R&B Performance.
Caesar will open for two other acts on May 5, making way for a lineup consisting of hip hop and R&B artists. Spring Fest’s headliners will be announced Thursday and Friday, with SA releasing clues on its Twitter account in preparation.
Students will be able to register for tickets online and pick up tickets at the SBI ticket office. More ticket info should be announced in April, according to SA Entertainment Director Matt Cosmai.
