A two-car crash occurred at the corner of Audubon Parkway and St. Rita's Lane late Thursday evening which sent a female student to the hospital.
According to University Police Department Lieutenant Urbanek, the accident occurred when one car cut in front of the other to turn left from the Audubon onto St. Rita's Lane.
The passenger of the first car, a female UB student, suffered minor head injuries and was sent to Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital. All other parties, including the driver of the second car, were uninjured.
The UB student and others in the vehicle were saved from further injury because the side curtain airbags in the vehicle deployed, according to Urbanek.
UPD will review the incident before taking further action.
