"Have no fear, MikelParis is here"

MikelParis is a triple threat - a person who is deep hearted, endlessly talented and not to mention sexy. With the recent release of his debut album "Flow," it would be no surprise if he soon becomes a household name.

His rock-acoustic sounds are captivating, fusing diverse elements by using 'guitardrumming,' a rare method of playing the acoustic guitar. The ten tracks on "Flow" place listening right in the middle of a string of very personal stories. However, Paris's music far surpasses his lyrics.

On the standout track titled "Fortunately," Paris sings, "Fortunately I am not the kind to sink my teeth too deeply / fortunately you are not the kind to spill your guts to me / It makes for perfect company."

The lyrics do not even do the song justice. The music hits listeners on many levels, a triumph on its own.

On the track titled "Highway," Paris' piano skills bring listeners through a moving ballad good enough to keep on repeat.

"I've been holding on for the wrong reasons baby / and I recognize the damage that's done / and I never had thought / that you'd contemplate suicide / wasn't there one reason to live / and I used to think this was monotony / but I and you we both can be free / Take to the highway where your soul can breathe..."

This isn't the only time Paris shows off his piano skills. As a touring member with Of A Revolution - commonly known as O.A.R - he shares his passion with crowds and fans during each performance. He has also appeared in the musical theatre show "Stomp!" Paris has proven that he is musically inclined no matter what the situation.
