Current: The Squid and the Whale (2005)
Kids deal with divorce in different ways. Teenager Walt memorizes Pink Floyd's "Hey You" and passes it off as his own in his high school's talent competition. His little brother Frank spreads his masturbated seed on library books. Funny, moving and rich in character development, this film was snubbed worse than "Brokeback" at this year's Oscars.
Classic: Kramer vs. Kramer (1979)
Dustin Hoffman and Meryl Streep divorce and battle it out for the rights to their only son Billy, played by Justin Henry, who gives one of the best performances ever by a child actor. "Kramer vs. Kramer" is the winner of five Oscars including Best Picture.
