Buffalo's Men's Soccer


The Bulls dropped a 3-1 decision to Wright State Sunday afternoon in the championship game of the UB Fall Invitational. Freshman Andrae Clarke scored Buffalo's only goal. The goal, which was the first of his career here at UB, was assisted by defenseman Cheick Diarra. The Bulls' next game is Saturday at 11 am, when they will host the Canisius Golden Griffins at RAC field.


UB Men's Basketball


The UB men's basketball team has announced that they have signed Yassin Idbihi to a scholarship to attend the University. Idbihi, a native of Tangier, Morroco, is a 6-10 forward. He played high school ball in Germany last season, for the Rhoendorf Dragons. He averaged 13.9 points and 6 rebounds a game. He shot 60 percent from the field. The Bulls, who finished last season 5-23(2-16 MAC). Idbihi is the fourth player the Bulls have signed, he joins Brian Andre, Andrew Atman and Parnell Smith.


Spectrum UB Athlete of the Week


The women's soccer team's Emily Russell earns the first Spectrum Athlete of the Week honor for her performances during the past week.

Her amazing play headlined the past weekend's UTEP tournament, and last Wednesday's game against Niagara, as she ripped opposing schools for five goals and one assist during the Bulls' three games, which were all victories.

Her next challenge will be leading Buffalo to victory at home against Western Michigan on Friday night at 7.
