Men's Tennis

UB was eliminated in the first round of the MAC Tournament by Toledo Thursday afternoon by a 4-0 score in DeKalb, Ill. (Northern Illinois University is hosting the tournament).

Buffalo lost two of three doubles matches to drop the doubles point and fall behind 1-0. Once Toledo won matches at second, third, and fifth singles the match was stopped, as the Rockets were ahead 4-0 and UB had no chance to win.

The Bulls finished the season 12-12 overall but just 1-5 in MAC competition. Toledo will face Ball State in the semifinals today.

Women's Tennis

UB was eliminated in the first round of the MAC Tournament by Ball State Thursday morning by a 4-0 score in Ypsilanti, Mich. (Eastern Michigan University is hosting the tournament).

Buffalo lost two doubles matches, giving Ball State the doubles point and a 1-0 lead. The third doubles match was stopped as BSU had already clinched the point. The Bulls then lost matches at fourth, fifth, and sixth singles, giving BSU the 4-0 win. The other singles matches were not completed after BSU had clinched the match.

UB finishes its season 6-14 overall and 0-10 in the MAC. BSU moves on to face Eastern Michigan in the quarterfinals today.
