I am dismayed by the complete lack of respect shown to America's troops in the April 16 "Better Than Stick Figures" cartoon. Additionally, the cartoonist downplays the horror that was the Hussein regime by completely denying the Iraqis' relief from being liberated.
Is Paul Hebert so bitter toward the Bush administration that he does not even recognize its accomplishments? This pathetic attempt at humor gives more credibility to the idea that the anti-war movement's chief concern is not the Iraqi people's welfare but the advancement of leftist politics.
