Letter To The Editor

If prejudice is to mean a preconceived judgment or opinion usually based on limited information, than that is the idea that you have conveyed from your column, "Affirmative Action Has Overstayed Its Welcome" (Feb. 19). I am highly offended by that particular (column) because it seems that you are saying affirmative action should be eliminated because it's a crutch system based on race. In fact, the majority of beneficiaries of affirmative action are white females. So in all respect you may be where you are today because of the very thing you want eliminated. I think you owe students of color a huge apology because of the biased article you have written.
