In a recent article, "Capaldi Delivers State of the University Address," The Spectrum incorrectly published that the state government boosted funding for the university from $167 million to $187 million, and that federal funding has increased from $185 million to $196 million. The state government actually boosted research expenditures for the university from $167 million to $187 million, and federal expenditures increased from $85 million to $96 million.
