To The Editor:
I do not understand how The Spectrum can pretend to be "ethical" in dealing with this year's Student Association election. The UB Students' Party has promised to cut Visions entirely in order to funnel the advertising money into The Spectrum. That $20,000 would go a long way in making sure that your editorial board gets higher salaries.
Jason Litwak and his UB Students' Party have behaved like raving lunatics time and time again this past week, but instead of presenting that, The Spectrum has smeared the current SA officers whose aggressive publicity efforts may not have been the most profitable for The Spectrum staff. Instead of presenting the fact that Chris Oliver, SA's current president, has easily swept all club endorsements, you attempt to discredit the clubs' ability to make this decision. Instead of presenting that the clubs in the People of Color Clubs council voted unanimously to endorse all three Results Party executive officer candidates, you claim "the UB Students' Party made their strongest appearance yet." What do you base that on? They didn't get a single vote at any position.
Do us a favor, and next time, admit it when you are fighting to increase the amount of money you make.
