In an article printed last Monday, "Capaldi Shares Food, Conversation With Students," Charles Fourtner was incorrectly identified as the director of biological sciences. Fourtner is in fact a professor within the department.
In addition, the department of biological sciences was incorrectly identified as receiving a certificate of merit from Gov. George Pataki; no such honor has been conferred.
